Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work with children and young people across Buckinghamshire in both regulated and unregulated settings.
This is a rewarding and dynamic role supporting vulnerable children and young people with a range of needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within children's services and be confident managing challenging behaviours while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people
Promote emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviour
Work within regulated and unregulated settings in line with policies and safeguarding procedures
Support young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
Encourage engagement in structured and recreational activities
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at all times
Complete accurate daily records, incident reports, and handovers
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionalsEssential Requirements
Previous experience working with children and young people (essential)
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner
Good communication and report-writing skills
Flexible and reliable with availability for varied shift patternsDesirable
Full UK driving licence (preferred due to travel requirements)
Restraint training (preferred)
Experience in residential, supported living, or similar settingsWhat We Offer
