Teacher of Art & Design | Secondary School in Blackpool, Lancashire | Part-Time | September 2026 Start
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art & Design for a long-term temporary position in Blackpool, Lancashire. The Teacher of Art & Design role will commence in September 2026 and continue until January 2027, working part-time Monday to Wednesday.
The school is a well-regarded secondary setting in Blackpool, Lancashire and was graded Good at its most recent Ofsted inspection, highlighting its commitment to high standards, strong leadership and positive outcomes for pupils.
The role
As a Teacher of Art & Design in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:
Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Inspire creativity and encourage students to achieve their full potential
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff
Contribute to the continued success of the Art department
Requirements
To be considered for this Teacher of Art & Design role in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Art & Design in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Be able to provide relevant references and undertake an enhanced DBS check
