Machine Operative

Department - Manufacturing / Production Job Overview The Machine Operative is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production of high-qualirt products. The role directly supports business performance through safe working practices, productivity, and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate machinery in accordance wuth standard operating procedures (SOP's) * Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain efficiency and quality * Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment * Identify, report and whwere appropriate resolve faults or defects * Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications * Maintain accurate production and quality records * Work collaboratively to achieve production targets and deadlines * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Support continuous imptovement initiatives to increase ecciciency and reduce waste
