SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Birmingham, B30 Contract: Long-term/Permanent Weekly Rate: £500 Start Date: September 2026 Commutable From: Selly Oak, Kings Norton, Northfield, Harborne, Edgbaston The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the King's Norton area from September 2026. The school is looking for someone with experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), speech and language difficulties, communication needs, and developmental delays. This is a rewarding opportunity to help young children build confidence, independence, and the foundations for lifelong learning in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
