Salary: Inner London Pay Scale (£40,370 – £56,470) + TLR (depending on experience)

The Head of Humanities will lead curriculum development, raise attainment and ensure consistently high standards across the department. The Head of Humanities will also support staff development, while the Head of Humanities plays a central role in whole-school improvement. The Head of Humanities will ensure high-quality teaching, and the Head of Humanities will shape long-term departmental strategy.

• Experienced or aspiring Head of Humanities leader

• Strong track record of raising attainment

• Ability to lead curriculum and staff development

• Strong subject knowledge across Humanities

Essential requirement:

Applicants for Head of Humanities must hold QTS and have at least 3 years’ teaching experience in Humanities (History, Geography or RE).
