CNC Programmer / Setter Full-Time | Permanent £31,200–£40,950 per annum | Rotating Shifts We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong HAAS machine experience to work in a modern production environment producing high-quality precision components. The Role As a CNC Programmer / Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving production efficiency, and ensuring work is completed safely and on schedule. Key Responsibilities * Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines * Produce precision components to engineering drawings and specifications * Perform first-off and in-process quality inspections * Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime * Troubleshoot machining and programming issues * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area * Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer deadlines Requirements Essential * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter * Strong experience programming and setting HAAS CNC machines * Solid machining and CNC milling knowledge * Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings * Experience with offline programming * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Hours Rotating Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday) * 06:00 – 14:00 * 14:00 – 22:00 Salary & Benefits * £31,200–£40,950 per annum, depending on experience * Full-time, permanent position * Overtime opportunities available * Stable, long-term career opportunity * Supportive team environment If you have strong HAAS programming and setting experience and are looking for your next permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you
