This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Junior Sous Chef with a background in quality-led London dining and a genuine passion for exceptional produce. Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering high standards across all areas of the operation.
The Concept
A vibrant, high-volume brasserie inspired by French and New York dining culture, with a menu leaning toward the French/Mediterranean style. The kitchen delivers a mix of:
A la carte service
Events menus
Canapés
The site currently caters for around 100 covers (up to 140 at peak) and has strong potential for further growth.
The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you will:
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Help lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Assist with prep, service, and kitchen organisation across all sections
Support stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen compliance standards
Contribute ideas toward menu development and seasonal dishes
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen
Background in high-quality London restaurants
Passion for fresh, seasonal, product-led cooking
Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
A positive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
Experience xwzovoh with high-volume service and events catering is advantageous
Ambitious and eager to develop within a quality-driven kitchen
