Head of Corporate Governance & Transition (Contract) 📍 Manchester- 1 Day A Week (Hybrid) 💼 6-Month Contract 💰 £500-£700 per day Lead governance. Drive transition. Make an impact from day one. We're seeking a senior governance professional to step into a critical interim role, leading corporate governance and supporting a high-profile organisational transition within a public sector environment. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the Board and Executive team, ensuring strong governance, compliance and high-quality decision-making. Key responsibilities: Lead and enhance governance and assurance frameworks Advise Board, Committees and Exec on governance, risk and compliance Ensure robust, transparent decision-making processes Oversee Board operations, reporting and governance standards Support delivery of a major organisational transition What we're looking for: Strong legal and/or finance background or experience Proven experience in public sector governance Ability to influence and challenge at senior level Expertise in governance, risk, compliance and assurance Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Why apply?
