1:1 Teaching Assistant – KS2 | Ainsdale (PR8) | ASAP Start Ready to make a real difference, every single day? We’re looking for a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a KS2 pupil in a welcoming primary school in Ainsdale (PR8). This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday), starting ASAP through to July 2026, with a strong possibility of returning in September. The Role: You’ll be providing dedicated 1:1 support to a child with Autism (ASD), helping them to: Stay engaged and on task throughout the school day Develop confidence in writing and literacy Build social skills and positive peer interactions Navigate transitions and regulate emotions What We’re Looking For: Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD A calm, patient and consistent approach Ability to build strong, trusting relationships Proactive mindset – able to adapt strategies to meet individual needs Strong communication skills and teamwork What’s on Offer: 💷 Competitive daily rate: £101 – £106 per day 📅 Full-time, long-term stability 🔁 Potential to continue into the next academic year (September) 🌟 Opportunity to have a genuine impact on a child’s development If you’re passionate about supporting children who need that extra bit of guidance to thrive, this role is exactly where you can make it count.
