Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Yard Operative to join their growing team based in Leith, Edinburgh.
This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment, ideal for someone reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop within an expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading shipping containers and delivery vehicles
Picking and preparing outgoing orders
Receiving and checking incoming goods
Supporting inspection and basic maintenance of rental equipment
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
Assisting with stock counts and inventory control
Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Requirements:
Valid driving licence
Valid forklift licence
Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, or similar xwzovoh environment
Basic computer skills
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
The successful candidate will be willing to learn new products and processes and interested in building a long-term career within the company.
Additional Information:
6-month probation period
