Production Operative

Do you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to apply your skills in a new industry? Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working, reliable, detail oriented people to join their Foundry team.. With vacancies in the Core and Moulding making teams you will learn how to: * Mix foundry grade sand and binding solutions * Fill pattern boxes with foundry sand. * Quality check moulds * Assemble moulds and cores ready for the metal pour * Use hand and air tools to remove any rough surfaces from moulds. You will need: * Experience in a manufacturing environment * The ability to safely and accurately use hand and air tools * A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling Hours of work Monday-Thursday 7.30-4.30 and Friday 7.30-1.30. 38 hours a week Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
