Head of Data & Analytics - London

Hybrid working - £100K plus bonus

I'm working with a growing organisation looking for an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to own their data strategy, platform and analytics function.

This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a small team while remaining technically involved where needed. You'll have real ownership of the data agenda and the opportunity to shape how data is used across the business.

The Role

Own and deliver the Data & Analytics strategy

Manage and develop a small data team

Stay hands-on technically when required

Lead the architecture and optimisation of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks & Power BI

Oversee data engineering, pipelines, lakes, warehouses and integrations

Drive advanced analytics, predictive modelling and ML

Partner with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable business insight

Champion self-service BI and Power BI

Own data governance, quality, security and compliance

Identify new technologies and opportunities to drive innovation

About You

We're looking for a senior data leader with a strong technical background and the ability to operate strategically.

You'll ideally have:

Experience leading a Data & Analytics function

Strong Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI experience

A background across data engineering, architecture and analytics

Experience managing a small team

The ability and willingness to remain hands-on

Strong stakeholder management skills, including at C-suite level

A good understanding of data governance and security
