About the role
Senior Architect & Senior Architectural Technologist
We’re seeking an experienced, ambitious Senior Architect and Senior Architectural Technologist to join our award-winning practice and play a key role in shaping high-quality, design-led projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for confident professionals with strong design sensibility, excellent job-running experience, and the ability to lead projects from early concept through to successful completion. You’ll be working within a collaborative studio environment, contributing to thoughtful, well-crafted architecture across a range of project types.
You will be working on diverse and exciting projects in hospitality, leisure, housing (private/social/affordable), healthcare and conservation. Experience in these sectors would be highly advantageous, but your enthusiasm and expertise are what matter most.
What You’ll Do:
• Take a leading job-running role on a range of exciting architectural projects, managing delivery from RIBA Stages 0–7
• Coordinate and oversee consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard
• Work across a diverse mix of sectors, broadening your experience and strengthening your professional portfolio
• Support the Management Team in the day-to-day management and successful execution of projects, contributing to programme, quality and client relationships
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years’ post–Part 3 experience; however, candidates with fewer years’ experience will be considered where they can demonstrate proven experience running projects independently from inception through to completion, including managing projects, coordinating consultants and supporting delivery through all RIBA stages.
• Exceptional design, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate creative ideas into well-resolved architecture
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit (Revit experience advantageous)
• Sound technical knowledge, with a strong focus on construction methodology and detailing
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through freehand sketching (beneficial but not essential)
• Full UK driving licence and own transport
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
• Competitive Salary: We value your experience and offer a salary that reflects your skills, responsibility and contribution
• Excellent Career Prospects: A genuine opportunity to take the next step in your career, with clear potential to progress into a leadership role for the right candidate. As the practice continues to grow, we’re looking for people who want to grow with us
• Learning & Development: A strong commitment to professional development, including a robust CPD programme, mentorship and paid ARB subscriptions
• Flexible Working: Flexibility around start and finish times to accommodate individual working patterns, along with one day per week of hybrid working.
• Generous Holiday Entitlement: Enjoy a competitive annual leave allowance
• Wellbeing Support: 24/7 access to the Health Assured Wellbeing Programme
