Managing a diverse residential property portfolio, theorganisation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of residentsafety, regulatory compliance and risk management. This is an opportunity toplay a key role in shaping fire safety strategy, providing technical expertiseand driving continuous improvement across the housing stock. Your New Role As Fire SafetyManager, you will act as the organisation's subject matter expert foroperational fire safety, ensuring compliance with current legislation andindustry best practice. Working closely with senior stakeholders, contractorsand operational teams, you will lead on fire risk assessments, complianceassurance and remedial action management across a residential portfolio. Monitoring fire safetycompliance and providing assurance against legislative and regulatoryrequirements. Managing remedial worksprogrammes, contractor performance and quality assurance activities. Conducting fire doorinspections and overseeing passive fire protection improvements. Supporting resident fire safetyinitiatives, including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs). Investigating fire incidents,identifying lessons learned and driving preventative measures. Providing technical advice,guidance and training to colleagues and senior stakeholders. Producing compliance reportsand supporting governance, audit and regulatory inspections. Experience undertaking FireRisk Assessments within residential housing or a similar builtenvironment. Experience managing fire safetycompliance, remedial works and contractor performance. Knowledge of fire doors,passive fire protection, compartmentation and evacuation planning. Excellent report writing,communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to applyprofessional judgement and take a practical, risk-based approach to firesafety management. Membership of a professionalbody or additional fire safety qualifications would be advantageous.
