Social Worker - Family Help Weymouth £38-£42 per hour Contract | Hybrid Connect2Socialwork are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join a Family Help Team in Weymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a forward-thinking Local Authority, supporting children and families across the full continuum of need. About the Role You'll be working within an integrated Family Help service, supporting children and families from Early Help through to Child Protection and court proceedings, ensuring the right support is in place at the right time. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload across: Early Help Child in Need Child Protection Pre-proceedings and court work Complete high-quality assessments and care plans Undertake direct work with children and families, promoting positive outcomes Prepare reports for court and multi-agency meetings Work collaboratively with education, health, police and partner agencies Maintain accurate and timely case recordsRequirements Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in UK Local Authorities Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989 and safeguarding frameworks Ability to manage complex cases and multi-agency working Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locallyWhat's on Offer Competitive rate (£38-£42ph) Opportunity to work in a progressive and supportive service Hybrid working Strong focus on professional development and supportWhy Work with Connect2Socialwork?
