We celebrate people for their personal qualities, skills and contributions, recognising the power our brands have to influence and shape culture. The Role The Programme Manager will lead the delivery of complex initiatives within our Product & Technology organisation.This role is responsible for managing programs of work that require coordination across multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders. You will ensure initiatives are well structured, clearly sequenced, and delivered in line with business objectives. You will manage a program of technical projects end to end, ensuring work is well planned, tracked, and delivered in line with agreed objectives. You will work closely with technology and business teams to align delivery with priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure outcomes are achieved.What will you be doing? Program Delivery and ExecutionManage a program of technical initiatives end to end, aligned to defined objectivesDefine and maintain a clear execution structure across projects and workstreamsEnsure initiatives are properly scoped, sequenced, and aligned across teamsMaintain a clear view of progress, milestones, and delivery healthCross-Team Coordination and OrchestrationCoordinate delivery across multiple teams and systemsManage dependencies across workstreams and ensure alignment of sequencingResolve cross-team blockers and support teams to maintain delivery momentumEnsure integration points between systems and teams are understood and plannedRisk and Issue ManagementIdentify and manage risks at a program level, ensuring early visibilityDrive mitigation plans and support the resolution of complex issuesEnsure risks, assumptions, and dependencies are clearly tracked and communicatedGovernance and CommunicationEstablish and maintain appropriate program governance and reportingProvide clear, structured updates on progress, risks, and decisionsFacilitate program-level meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholdersSupport decision making by presenting clear options and trade offsStakeholder PartnershipBuild strong relationships across product, engineering, editorial, data, and business teamsAlign stakeholders on priorities, sequencing, and delivery expectationsSupport the translation of business needs into structured delivery plansEnsure initiatives are aligned to program goals and expected outcomesDelivery EnablementSupport teams in maintaining clarity on scope, priorities, and timelinesWork with technology leads to align delivery to agreed goals or OKRsEnsure readiness for release, including coordination across business and operational teamsSupport adoption and transition to business as usualBudget, Resourcing and PerformanceSupport the development of business cases and funding requirements as requiredTrack delivery performance and support budget managementHelp identify and resolve cross-team resource constraintsMonitor progress against agreed goals and outcomesAbout you: Program Delivery ExperienceExperience managing complex technology or digital programs across multiple teamsProven ability to coordinate work across interdependent projects or systemsStrong delivery focus with the ability to structure work and drive executionExperience working across the full delivery lifecycle from planning through to releaseExperience working with Software development delivery approaches as appropriateFamiliarity with software development lifecycle practicesComfortable working in a fast moving and evolving environmentProfessional certification, such as Prince2, APM, or PMP/PMI, is highly preferred.Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, AirTable and Google Workspace, and Program Management toolsets such as SmartSheets, Monday or AsanaMedia and Publishing ExperienceExperience working with content platforms, CMS, or editorial systemsUnderstanding of publishing workflows and content production processesFamiliarity with fast paced, deadline driven editorial environmentsAI and Data AwarenessComfortable using AI tools to support delivery activities such as planning, documentation, and reportingExperience using data and insights to support decision making and prioritisationAwareness of how AI and data capabilities impact content, publishing, and business workflowsAbility to work with teams to understand dependencies related to data, systems, and automationCurious and proactive in adopting new tools that improve efficiency and delivery outcomesCore CapabilitiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesClear and confident communicator across technical and non technical audiencesAbility to identify risks early and drive resolution across teamsPractical and structured approach to problem solvingComfortable working across global teams and stakeholdersWhat We Are Looking ForA Program Manager who brings structure and clarity to complex initiativesSomeone who can coordinate across teams and keep delivery aligned and on trackA strong collaborator who builds trust across business and technology teamsFocused on outcomes, not just activityComfortable working in a fast moving and evolving environmentDoes this sound like you? Please submit your CV, which highlights why you'd love to take on this role and why you're a great match for what we're looking for.We value the time and effort behind every application.
