Production Operative

Production Operative - Peterlee Pay: £12.71 - £13.25 per hour (depending on experience and successful completion of probation) Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Overtime: Available KES Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client based in Peterlee due to continued business growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing site offering a stable day shift initially, with the potential for future shift opportunities as the business continues to expand. The Role As a Production Operative, you will support the daily running of the site, ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. Duties will include: * Operating heavy plant machinery * Following strict health and safety procedures * General housekeeping and maintaining a clean working environment * Supporting the production process and maintaining workflow * Reacting positively to changes within the operation * Using your own initiative to improve efficiency * Working as part of a team to meet daily requirements * Operating a Forklift Truck once fully trained What We’re Looking For The ideal Production Operative will have: * Previous experience working within a production, manufacturing or industrial environment * Experience working around heavy machinery would be advantageous * FLT experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided * A good understanding of workplace health and safety * A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role within a growing manufacturing environment.
