About the Job Working as part of a small team, the Trainee Accountant / Junior Accountant will gain broad exposure across a range of accounting services while receiving full support towards their professional qualification.

This role would suit a graduate, trainee or part-qualified candidate who is looking to develop their technical accounting knowledge and gain hands-on experience within practice.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Preparation Assist with the preparation of accounts for a range of clients Prepare and maintain accounting records and working papers Support senior team members with client assignments Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines Audit Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion Support the preparation of audit documentation and working papers Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information Tax Assist with tax compliance work Support the preparation of relevant tax documentation Develop knowledge across different areas of taxation Forensic Accounting Assist with research, analysis and preparation of information for forensic assignments Support senior team members with investigative accounting work Client & Team Support Communicate with clients and assist with resolving queries Work closely with colleagues across a range of assignments Develop strong technical and commercial understanding through practical experience xwzovoh Previous Experience Degree, diploma or master's in Accounting, Finance or a related subject Trainee or part-qualified candidates will also be considered Previous accountancy practice experience would be advantageous but is not essential Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Genuine interest in pursuing a career within accountancy practice Willingness to study towards a professional accounting qualification For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
