Field Service Engineer

Contract Field Service Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Outside IR35 South East England £38–£40 per hour | 6-Month Contract We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical background and proven experience working on conveyor systems to support a busy, long-term project across the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, fault finding in the field, and wants the opportunity to maximise their earnings on a contract offering consistent work. The Role * Electrical fault finding, maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple customer sites * Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults * Commissioning and supporting conveyor equipment where required * Travelling across the South East region (door-to-door travel covered) * Working safely and professionally while representing the client on-site What We're Looking For * Electrically biased Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer * Previous experience working on conveyor systems is essential * Strong electrical fault-finding skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Full UK driving licence The Opportunity * £38–£40 per hour * 6-month contract * Outside IR35 * Door-to-door travel paid * Consistent workload with the opportunity to earn an excellent income over the duration of the contract * Immediate start available If you're an experienced conveyor engineer looking for a well-paid contract with plenty of work, we'd love to hear from you.
