Corporate Energy Associate | London | US Law Firm Pay- 5 to 7 PQE with English Law Experience

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Energy Associate (5–7 PQE) to join its growing London team.

This is a rare opportunity to focus exclusively on the global energy sector, advising on some of the most significant energy transactions and projects worldwide. The role is not project finance and will suit lawyers with a genuine passion for energy, natural resources, infrastructure and renewables transactions.

The team advises major industry participants, including international energy companies, commodity traders, investors and developers, across oil & gas, mining, power, renewables and energy transition matters.

Recent work has included:

• Multi-billion-dollar energy and infrastructure financings across Africa and the Middle East.

• Cross-border acquisitions and disposals of upstream oil & gas assets.

• Major battery energy storage (BESS) transactions in Europe.

• Strategic joint ventures, concessions and project development arrangements.

• Energy transition and renewable energy investments.

Requirements:

3–6 PQE

Strong energy, natural resources or infrastructure transactional experience

Background from a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, leading US or recognised energy-focused law firm

Excellent academics from a leading university

French and/or Spanish language skills advantageous

Compensation:

• 3 PQE: £210,000

• 4 PQE: £220,000

• 5 PQE: £230,000–£240,000

• 6 PQE: £240,000–£250,000

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, associates are eligible for performance and hours-based bonuses.
