Project Manager (Service Delivery Engineer)

Job Title: Project Manager / Service Delivery Engineer Location: New Forest, UK Project Duration: Contract - 5 Weeks Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Service Delivery Engineer to oversee a critical maintenance project on a high-pressure gas site in the New Forest. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient delivery of works to repair a leaking flange, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the delivery of the project from planning through to completion Coordinate site teams, including SCO personnel and technical specialists, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently Oversee the repair of a leaking flange on a high-pressure gas installation Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and industry standards (e.g. IGEM) Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation Act as the main point of contact between client, site teams, and stakeholders Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies Ensure all documentation, reporting, and handover requirements are completed to a high standard Drive high standards of safety, quality, and performance on site Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Service Delivery Engineer within the gas, utilities, or energy sector Strong background working on high-pressure gas systems or transmission sites Demonstrable experience managing maintenance or repair works (e.g. flange repairs, pipeline works) Solid understanding of gas safety regulations, SCO procedures, and permit-to-work systems Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead teams in high-risk environments Please click to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
