Site Manager (FIRAS)

Location: Portsmouth Duration: Ongoing Start Date: ASAP Rate/Salary: Negotiable (DOE) We are currently seeking an experienced FIRAS Site Manager to oversee fire protection works on an ongoing project based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and safety-focused individual with experience managing fire door installation, fire door maintenance, and fire stopping projects within live environments. Key Responsibilities * Manage and supervise site teams carrying out: * Fire Door Installations * Fire Door Maintenance * Fire Stopping Works * Monitor progress, quality, and compliance across all work areas. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works are completed to the required standards. * Oversee surveyors working within the General Infirmary, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently. * Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times. * Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders as required. * Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates to the project team. Essential Requirements * Valid CSCS Card * Valid SMSTS * FIRAS Approved Supervisor – Fire Doors and Fire Stopping * Proven experience managing passive fire protection projects. * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Experience working within live healthcare or occupied environments is advantageous.
