Headteacher's PA
An outstanding secondary school in East London are looking to secure a Heads PA to support the Executive Head Teacher of a high achieving Secondary School.
The School
This larger than average school are very supportive of their staff and are always trying to better their expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil."
The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10 minute walk from the school.
Headteacher's PA
This high achieving school based on the borders of Essex/ East London are looking to secure a Headteachers PA to start asap on an ongoing temp/perm basis.
The main duties will include:
Diary and Gatekeeping: Managing the headteacher's complex calendar, scheduling appointments, and prioritizing urgent matters.
Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the first point of contact for the headteacher, fielding calls and emails from parents, staff, and external agencies.
Meeting and Event Management: Preparing agendas, taking formal minutes at Senior Leadership Team (SLT) or Governor meetings, and coordinating school events like assemblies or parent forums.
Reporting and Compliance: Assisting with statutory returns, producing briefing papers, and preparing documentation for school inspections (e.g., Ofsted in the UK)
Confidentiality: Handling sensitive school, staff, and student data with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Project and HR Support: Assisting with recruitment, staff development, and various ad-hoc executive projects.
Experience needed:
Previous track record working in a Personal Assistant position within a School, College or university setting.
Good attention to details
Advanced in all MS office packages
