Construction Underwriter – Contractors Liability

Salary - £40,000 - £60,000

London/ hybrid

We are partnering with an ambitious and growing MGA that is looking to expand its UK Liability team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist underwriting environment with a strong focus on Construction Liability across a broad range of trades and industry sectors.

The Role

• Underwriting new and renewal business within agreed authority levels
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and trading partners
• Actively promoting the MGA’s Liability proposition within the market
• Assessing risk, setting policy terms, and calculating premiums in line with internal guidelines and insurer binding authority agreements

Experience Required

• Cert CII qualified (minimum requirement)
• At least 3 years’ experience xwzovoh underwriting Contractors Liability insurance
• Proven experience handling high-risk and/or hard-to-place Liability risks (advantageous)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident relationship builder with the ability to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
