About the role
This role at our Bangor branch is responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient yard environment, supporting daily operations through the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials. The Yard Operative plays a key role in ensuring stock is managed correctly, vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely, and that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Please note: We are currently recruiting for two positions , initially offered on a 12-month temporary contract , with a view to becoming permanent .
What You'll Do
- Picking orders to meet customer requirements
- Assisting and serving calling customers
- Supporting yard personnel with the loading of customer and company vehicles
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties to maintain a tidy yard and production area
- Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures at all times
- A commitment and passion for providing excellent customer service
- A team-player mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude
- A hardworking approach and willingness to learn
