About the role

We’re currently working on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing SME based in Edenbridge, to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a busy, fast-paced team. This is a highly practical, “lead from the front” role — ideal for someone who thrives in a working environment where they are just as involved on the warehouse floor as they are in supervising the team. Our client is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive individual who can maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency, while motivating others to do the same. The Role You’ll play a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include: Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse activity and workflow Coaching, directing, and supporting team members to ensure strong performance and consistency Coordinating the safe and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring systems are kept fully up to date Overseeing the full order cycle from picking through to packing and dispatch Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are processed correctly with accurate paperwork Carrying out basic checks on equipment and escalating any repair needs Supporting in assembly/build tasks when operationally required Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and operating at a high standard Supporting onboarding and day-to-day guidance of new starters and apprentices About You Experienced working within a warehouse environment, ideally with some supervisory exposure Highly organised with a strong focus on accuracy and detail Physically capable of supporting manual handling duties when needed Forklift trained Confident working with warehouse systems and processes Clear and effective communicator who can guide and support a team Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a busy SME setting The Package £28,000–£30,000 DOE Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm On-the-job training and development provided Opportunity to grow within a supportive and expanding business Fast-paced, team-focused working environment
