The Role

If you are currently part of a high-volume claims team where work can feel process-driven and repetitive, this opportunity offers something materially different.

 

Working within a close-knit, highly regarded in-house claims function, you will handle a genuinely varied caseload across multiple classes of business. There is a particular focus on:

Importantly, this is not a “conveyor belt” claims role. You will take real ownership of individual matters from notification through to resolution, applying policy interpretation, exercising judgement and engaging directly with stakeholders. The work is broader, more commercially nuanced and offers greater accountability than many traditional law firm claims team positions.

 

The Person

You will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE.

 

Ideally, you will bring detailed knowledge of policy wordings and their application, particularly in relation to Professional Indemnity, Cyber or Management Liability claims, alongside a working knowledge of UK Retail wordings.

 

Equally important is a desire to step into a role offering greater autonomy, responsibility and commercial exposure – moving beyond volume-driven file handling to a position where your judgement genuinely matters. xwzovoh

 

This is a hybrid position, primarily based in prestigious central Leeds offices, with one day per week working from home.
