About the role

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Site Civil Supervisor for a leading multi-national energy technology client based in Norwich.

This is a contract position until the end of the year and candidates must be able to work on site in Norwich.


The role is Inside IR35.

Paying £43.13ph PAYE or £57.71ph Umbrella.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

  • To provide dedicated, on site leadership and coordination for the Builders’ Work package, ensuring that all civil, architectural works by the subcontractor are executed safely, to specification, aligned with approved drawings, and in compliance with Quality Assurance and site Health & Safety requirements.
  • Supervising remainder of civil works and close out of Quality QA's
  • This role supports delivery of the programme, coordination between trades, and readiness for final architectural finishes and handover.
  • Highlight discrepancies, missing details, and clashes; raise RFIs when required.
  • Conduct inspections with subcontractor and keep detailed inspection/test records.
  • Carry out regular safety walks; raise and close out observations.
  • Ensure work areas have correct PPE, barriers, signage, permits, and housekeeping.
  • Coordinate with H&S team regarding high-risk activities (working at height, hot works, lifting operations, confined spaces, etc.).
  • Prepare weekly progress summaries and photographic evidence.
  • Attend coordination meetings and report Builders’ Work readiness for other trades.


Education/Experience

  • Experience working in a similar role as Site Supervisor, overseeing and ensuring that civil, architectural works by the subcontractor are executed safely on site, to specification, aligned with approved drawings, and in compliance with Quality Assurance and site Health & Safety requirements.
  • Candidates must have a history of heavy civils not domestic building history
  • Experience with construction projects.
  • Familiar with the Builders’ Work package.
  • 5+ years experience. xwzovoh
