You’ll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering solutions that improve critical infrastructure across the UK water sector. The RoleAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities will include:Developing concept and detailed mechanical designs for water industry projects. Producing engineering calculations, drawings, technical reports and design documentation. Supporting projects through feasibility, optioneering and detailed design stages. Assisting with tender submissions, project planning and contract documentation. Liaising with site teams to resolve technical issues and support construction activities. Undertaking site surveys, inspections and feasibility studies. Working alongside Senior and Principal Engineers to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. About YouWe’re interested in speaking with candidates who have:Experience producing mechanical designs within the water, wastewater or process engineering sectors. Knowledge of pumping systems and pump selection software. An understanding of clean water and wastewater treatment processes and associated equipment.The ability to undertake site surveys and develop practical engineering solutions.Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery. A full UK driving licence.
