Experienced Agricultural Technician

OTE £60,000
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Agricultural Technician to join a well-established and growing business.
This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of modern agricultural machinery, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections both in the workshop and out in the field.
Working Hours
·Monday to Friday
·8:00am - 5:00pm
·Overtime available during weekdays and weekends
The Role
As an Agricultural Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of agricultural equipment, ensuring machinery remains reliable and operational for customers.
Key duties include:
·Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery.
·Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
·Completing pre-delivery inspections on new machinery.
·Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and service software.
·Completing job reports and service records electronically.
·Attending manufacturer training courses to maintain technical knowledge.
·Promoting dealership services and supporting customer relationships.
·Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
·Previous experience as an Agricultural Technician is essential.
·Experience working on tractors, combines, sprayers, balers and other agricultural equipment.
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
·Good hydraulic, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
·Excellent communication and customer service skills.
·Good IT skills and experience using diagnostic systems.
·Experience working on AGCO products would be advantageous but is not essential.
