We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, fault finding, equipment repairs, change part maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement activities.

This position will be joining our thriving UK medical device manufacturing company to work within our Engineering Department.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimise equipment downtime and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Essential Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as a Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineer
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience working within a medical device or other regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Experience with PLC fault finding
  • Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement activities

Hours of Work

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 07:00am – 17:30pm
