Salary: £38,000 + Overtime
OTE: Circa £40,000–£42,000

We're recruiting for an experienced Forklift / Field Service Engineer to join a well-established materials handling business.

This is a field-based position carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment across customer sites.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and MHE

• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding

• Planned preventative maintenance

• Electrical and mechanical repairs

• Diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults

• Attending customer sites across your allocated territory

• Completing service documentation and job reports

• Providing a professional service to customers

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have experience working as a:

• Forklift Engineer

• Field Service Engineer

• Plant Fitter

• Mobile Engineer

• Materials Handling Engineer

• Agricultural Engineer

• HGV / Vehicle Technician with relevant transferable experience

You'll need strong mechanical fault-finding skills, with electrical and hydraulic experience being highly desirable.

Previous forklift experience is preferred, although engineers from plant, agricultural, access equipment or similar backgrounds may also be considered.

• £38,000 basic salary

• Overtime available
