Shift Pattern: Days - 50/50 Supernumerary split
About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established nursing home providing high-quality residential and nursing care. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in their leadership career within a supportive and resident-focused environment.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider clinical team, you will play a key role in maintaining outstanding standards of care, supporting the nursing team, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The Role
As Clinical Lead, you will support and develop the nursing team while ensuring residents receive person-centred, high-quality care. You will lead clinical governance, oversee care delivery, and act as a role model for best practice across the service.
Reporting to: Home Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and lead the nursing team on a day-to-day basis.
* Ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained.
* Monitor care plans and clinical outcomes for residents.
* Promote best practice and continuous improvement.
* Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Support safeguarding processes and quality assurance activities.
* Mentor, coach and develop nursing and care staff.
* Assist with investigations, risk management and clinical governance.
Requirements
Essential
* NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD).
* Previous post-registration nursing experience.
* Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
* Experience leading or supervising clinical teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Desirable
* Experience within a nursing home or elderly care setting.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, DoLS and clinical audits.
* Experience supporting inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
