About the role

Job Title: Project Controller Broad Oak – Portsmouth , hybrid – 3 days on site 2 working from home – this role might include travel to other BAE Southern sites Join BAE Systems and you’ll be part of something bigger. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of innovative projects for the Royal Navy’s future Hybrid Navy vision. Working within the Combat Systems business, as a Project Controller, you’ll help coordinate and control complex programmes spanning maritime autonomy , digital command and control , systems integration, and emerging naval technologies. Set up the Project Control processes on the new control account/project and then manage them on the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved. Perform project scheduling and resourcing within the project. Facilitate Risk and Opportunity identification – Identify, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Agree Project Control approach with stakeholders and prepare realistic plans. Use Project Control toolsets, such as Scheduling tools (P6 or MSP), Risk Management systems (ARM, SAFRAN) and Create spreadsheets and other artefacts to support the role and programme Comprehensive Project Control experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project. Experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal stakeholders.
