Customer Service Advisor

We are working on behalf of a leading Engineering company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for receiving and processing order, enquires and general information in a timely and considerate manner. Key Duties: * Handle customer calls, enquiries, product information and lead times. * Process orders, proforma invoices and customer quotations. * Update and amend orders as required. * Maintain accurate customer and company documentation. * Support Area Sales Managers with administrative requirements. * Arrange couriers and carriers for customer deliveries. * Assist with general office administration. * Make proactive outbound calls to customers and follow up enquiries. Previous Skills & Experience: * Previous experience in customer service administration within a professional office environment. * Experience within an export environment would be advantageous. * Professional and confident telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. * Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all areas of work. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using internal business systems. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Good understanding of data protection requirements, with the ability to follow company policies and procedures
