Freelance Electrician – Commercial Installations & Remedial Works Location: London & South East Contract Length: 12 Months Rate: Up to £250 per day We are seeking a skilled and reliable Freelance Electrician to join a growing team on a 12-month contract basis. Working across a range of commercial, high-end and prestigious client sites throughout London and the South East, this role would suit an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates professionally, and is comfortable working in client-facing environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician seeking consistent work, competitive day rates, and a varied workload across commercial electrical projects. The Role You will be carrying out a mixture of commercial electrical works, including: Commercial electrical installation projects Small works and remedial repairs Consumer unit and distribution board works where required Fault finding and diagnostics Supporting testing and inspection activities Working within offices, commercial premises, high-end environments and client-facing locations Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard Completing job records and documentation accurately The ideal candidate will be: A qualified electrician with commercial experience Reliable, organised and capable of working independently Professional and presentable in client-facing environments Health and safety conscious Committed to producing neat, high-quality work Positive, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team Essential Requirements Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Strong knowledge of electrical installation works Full UK Driving Licence Good communication and customer service skills Professional attitude towards customers, colleagues and site teams Desirable (but not essential) 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification IPAF and/or PASMA certification Experience carrying out commercial testing and remedial works Experience working in high-end, sensitive or prestigious client environments What's on Offer Up to £250 per day 12-month contract with the potential for further work Varied commercial projects across London and the South East Opportunity to work within high-quality commercial and prestigious environments Professional and supportive working culture Immediate start available for the right candidate.
