We are looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their friendly and supportive veterinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work alongside experienced veterinary professionals and play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care.

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider team to ensure excellent clinical standards and a positive experience for both patients and their owners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to inpatients and surgical patients
  • Assisting Veterinary Surgeons with consultations, procedures and operations
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and recovering patients safely
  • Preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative care
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed
  • Supporting diagnostic procedures and clinical investigations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control
  • Communicating professionally with clients and providing appropriate advice
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues where required
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative and patient-focused working environment

About You

We are looking for an RVN who is passionate about veterinary nursing and committed to providing exceptional standards of patient care.

You will ideally have:

  • An RVN qualification and current RCVS registration
  • Previous experience within a veterinary practice or hospital environment
  • Strong clinical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and professional approach to patient and client care
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your skills
