Freelance Site Manager – Office Fit-Out (Manchester) Location: Manchester Day Rate: £280 – £290 (CIS / Ltd) Duration: Start date 11th May 2026 – 4 months (through to August 2026) The Project We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a high-spec CAT B commercial office fit-out in Manchester. The project is a 20,000 sq ft, 19-week programme within a flagship sustainable building, designed to create a modern, flexible, and collaborative workspace. The scheme includes: High-end office fit-out works Breakout areas, meeting rooms & client spaces Sustainable materials and finishes Complex M&E coordination within a live commercial environment  Role & Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations from start to completion Manage subcontractors, programme, and site logistics Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality Coordinate trades and manage sequencing of fit-out packages Maintain site records, RAMS, and health & safety compliance Liaise with project managers, clients, and design teams  Requirements (ESSENTIAL) SMSTS First Aid at Work Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Asbestos Awareness Proven experience delivering CAT A / CAT B office fit-outs Strong track record on commercial interior projects  Additional Criteria Only local candidates will be considered No mobile Site Managers – please do not apply  Apply To apply, please email your updated CV to (url removed)
