We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our North East manufacturing sites. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and at maximum performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business


What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage maintenance activities across production and facility operations.
  • Drive machine reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, BRC, and ISO standards.
  • Monitor and report maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
  • Support capital and operational improvement projects.
  • Develop and coach maintenance team members to build technical capability and engagement.
  • Manage facilities maintenance requirements to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintenance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM programs.
  • Understanding of electrical regulations (17th or 18th Edition preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Printing, packaging, carton manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
  • Experience with Heidelberg, Komori, Bobst, Jagenberg, or similar production equipment. xwzovoh
  • Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
