HSE Advisor

HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Kidderminster who are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Advisor to join the team. Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance you will work closely with another HSE Advisor to drive compliance and improvements across two local manufacturing and logistics sites. That daily visible presence is essential to managing safety on site- you will have to stand your ground and push back but it’s a balance of knowing when this stance is needed. It will be a really varied role, always out on site, doing walk arounds, compliance checks, toolbox talks, working through actions on the system. What makes this an interesting opportunity? Development opportunity- for the right person you will invest in their career development, including qualifications.What we are looking for:   Someone comfortable and happy out on the shop floor, visibility is essential Driven, self-motivated, good team player and work ethic – someone who cares Good communicator IT Savvy- able to pick up and maximise the use of a management system NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum Environmental permitting and ISO systems experience would be advantageous.
