About the role

Location: Codsall We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils with SEND needs in a warm and supportive school environment. About the Role * Provide support for pupils with MSI, ASD, PMLD, PD, and SLD across structured and sensory‑based learning. * Adapt learning materials, communication tools, and sensory resources to meet individual needs. * Assist with personal‑care routines, independence‑building tasks, and mobility support. * Work collaboratively with teachers and therapy teams to deliver targeted interventions. * Support pupils during enrichment activities, outdoor learning, and life‑skills sessions. * Contribute to progress monitoring, behaviour support, and IEP reviews. What We’re Looking For * Experience supporting SEND pupils. * A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ, or TA Level 2/3 are beneficial. * Motivation to progress as a teaching assistant. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
