Join a Leading Fire Safety Consultancy

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing and highly respected fire safety consultancy in Harlow.

This role will see you undertaking complex fire risk assessments across a diverse portfolio of higher-risk and specialist premises, whilst supporting quality assurance processes, technical reviews and the development of junior assessors.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessments across complex and higher-risk buildings.

* Provide clear, practical fire safety advice to clients.

* Support technical review and quality assurance activities.

* Mentor and develop Fire Risk Assessors within the team.

* Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and industry best practice.

* Produce high-quality reports and risk-based recommendations.

About You

You'll ideally have:

✅ IFSM/NFRAR Tier 3 Advanced Fire Risk Assessor registration (or equivalent independent accreditation)

✅ Proven experience undertaking FRAs in complex and higher-risk premises

✅ Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and UK Fire Safety legislation

✅ Excellent understanding of compartmentation, evacuation strategies, fire safety management and building construction

✅ Strong report-writing and client-facing skills

✅ Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development

Desirable Experience

* Level 4 or Level 5 Fire Risk Assessment qualification

* Membership of IFSM, IFE or IFPO

* BAFE SP205 experience

* Healthcare, high-rise residential, industrial or sleeping-risk environments

* Passive fire protection knowledge

* Mentoring or peer-review experience

* Large-scale FRA portfolio delivery
