MEP Quantity Surveyor – Hyperscale Data Centre Project North-West London £50,000 – £75,000 + Package An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team delivering one of the most technically complex hyperscale data centre projects in North-West London. This is a key commercial role within a fast-paced MEP delivery environment, supporting the financial and contractual control of large-scale mechanical and electrical packages on a mission-critical scheme. Reporting to the MEP Commercial Lead, you will work closely with project delivery and commercial teams, taking ownership of MEP package valuation, change management, and subcontractor commercial control across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Measure, price, and value M&E works across containment, busbar, cabling, HVAC systems, plant installation, commissioning allowances, and associated preliminaries Develop detailed, auditable variation cost models including star rates, labour norms, and benchmarked data sets Assess and manage the commercial impact of design development, sequencing, commissioning strategy, access constraints, and change Challenge subcontractor applications and quotations using robust, evidence-based commercial analysis Negotiate and manage commercial positions effectively both upstream and downstream Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure commercial alignment with delivery strategy and programme requirements Essential Requirements Strong experience measuring and pricing M&E works within complex building services environments Proven ability to build structured, auditable variation and cost models Strong understanding of commissioning, sequencing, and the commercial impact of design change in live project environments Confident in challenging subcontractor pricing using data-led and evidence-based reasoning Strong negotiation skills with the ability to protect and defend commercial position Experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects (data centre or mission-critical experience highly desirable) Package & Benefits £50,000 – £75,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) Bonus potential Structured personal development plan with clear progression within MEP commercial delivery 25 days annual leave Private healthcare Life insurance Additional company benefits package Why This Role?
