Electrical Engineer – City of London Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime Location: City of London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineer to join our team, working within a high-profile commercial environment in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive company that offers clear progression routes. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site * Maintain and service lighting systems, including Simtronic lighting * Perform routine checks and maintenance on emergency lighting systems * Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems * Diagnose and repair faults across electrical systems, including 3-phase power * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current regulations and health & safety standards Requirements: * Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) * Experience working within commercial environments * Strong knowledge of lighting systems, emergency lighting, and fire alarms * Experience with 3-phase electrical systems * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum * Overtime opportunities available * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Clear progression routes to senior-level roles If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a stable role with long-term career prospects, we would love to hear from you.
