Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Scaffolder/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by assisting with scaffolding setup, dismantling, and general labour tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will ensure smooth operations on-site, helping us deliver high-quality results efficiently. Duties * Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards * Assist with the installation of formwork, concrete finishing, and other structural components * Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively * Support tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks on-site * Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements * Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency * Conduct routine inspections of scaffolding and work zones to identify hazards or maintenance needs Experience * Prior experience working on construction sites or in related labour roles preferred but not required * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment essential * Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics beneficial for understanding project plans * Experience with scaffolding installation or demolition is highly advantageous * Ability to operate heavy machinery such as lifts or cranes is a plus * Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards preferred Join us if you’re eager to build your career in construction!
