Private Client Solicitor (2-5PQE) – Leading City Firm

Taylor Root have been instructed on an opportunity with a leading city firm who are looking to hire an experienced Associate / Senior Associate into their market leading Private Client practice. This role will be suitable for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience.

The Firm

A highly regarded London-based law firm with a top-tier Private Wealth practice is seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join its team. The firm is known for delivering bespoke, commercially astute advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, often with complex international affairs. The team is split into three sub teams, with a focus on onshore, offshore and agriculture & estates. Each team are consistently ranked in Tier 1 for their private client team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE to work alongside leading experts in the field. The role involves advising UK and international clients on a wide range of private wealth matters, including tax, trusts, estate planning, and family governance. This role will be predominantly focused on onshore clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on UK and cross-border estate and succession planning.
• Drafting wills, trusts, and related documentation.
• Providing strategic advice on UK tax residency and domicile issues.
• Working closely with advisors in other jurisdictions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Supporting clients with the structuring and transfer of family wealth.
