Salary: 32,578 - 35,570 per annum, pro rataGrade: HContract: Permanent  Hours: 22 per weekLocation: Scarborough, North Yorkshire.Note – Covers Scarborough, Whitby and RyedaleWe have excellent opportunities for ‘Inclusion Practitioners’ specialising in hearing impairments (HI), to join our existing, established, Inclusion Hub in Scarborough. About the serviceThe Education and Inclusion Service works in partnership with all schools and settings within North Yorkshire to promote the inclusion, participation and achievement of children and young people with SEND.These services are allocated into Inclusion Support hubs, co-ordinating provision at a locality level across Children and Young Peoples Services (CYPS) as a whole, to ensure needs are met holistically.About the RoleYou will deliver effective support and intervention for children and young people with HI / VI needs, 0-25, in a variety of contexts, including home and school. Under the guidance of the QTVI and QTOD you will play a role in planning and delivering effective support for CYP with a Hearing Impairment and developing the skills of the workforce in supporting CYP.·       To provide data on children and young people’s progress and outcomes to inform·       Local authority data collection and analysis, service development and professional performance management·       To advise children and young people, parents, and staff on the management and use of specialist equipment as necessary·       To contribute to IEP’s and specific programmes of work.You should have up to date knowledge of technology, resources and issues relevant Hearing Impairment (HI)Note – while the locations cover Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale, you may be asked to work across the countyIf you’re motivated, passionate and believe everyone should be given an opportunity, we’d like to hear from you, it’s time to make the change.
