Forklift Driver

We're recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for a major refinery shutdown at Fawley Refinery, Southampton (SO45 1TX). We have both Counterbalance Forklift Driver and Telescopic Forklift Driver opportunities. To be considered, you'll need a valid and in-date forklift licence relevant to the equipment you'll be operating e.g. RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent, proven industrial site experience, and a valid CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent. ⚠️ Start Date: 14/09/2026. Our Forklift Drivers will work on a 10-week assignment offering 60 hours per week and competitive rates (50 hours Mon - Fri & 10 hours on Sun). The Role Working as part of a refinery shutdown / turnaround team, duties will include: Operating counterbalance or telescopic forklifts to safely move pipework materials, equipment and components across the refinery site Loading and unloading deliveries in designated laydown and storage areas Transporting materials and equipment to support maintenance pipework and welding teams Supporting shutdown activities by ensuring timely movement of tools, consumables and plant equipment Carrying out daily pre-use inspections and reporting defects Following refinery safety procedures, traffic management plans and permit-to-work systemsRequirements Valid Counterbalance or Telescopic Forklift licence e.g. RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent Previous industrial site experience (refinery / shutdown experience preferred, construction experience will be considered) Good understanding of safe lifting, loading and material handling practices Good safety record and reliable attendanceApply Now To be considered, please send your CV and confirm: ✅ Forklift licence held (Counterbalance or Telescopic) and expiry date ✅ Industrial site forklift operating experience ✅ CCNSG expiry date, or equivalent ✅ Availability to start on 14/09/2026 (essential)Additional Information 3 x Counterbalance Forklift Drivers required 3 x Telescopic Forklift Drivers required Candidates must be available to start on 14/09/2026 10-week shutdown project These roles are Inside IR35 The advertised rates are CIS PAYE is also available if preferred
