Teaching Assistant – Alternative Provision (KS3/KS4) Full-time | Derby | 8:30am–3:30pm
We're seeking a confident , resilient, energetic Teaching Assistant to support small groups of Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour. This role would particularly suit someone who can offer positive role modelling , consistency and a calm presence.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting small groups of pupils with additional needs

Managing behaviour and promoting emotional regulation

Building trust and encouraging engagement

Maintaining clear professional boundaries

Working closely with Alternative Provision staff and pastoral teams

Ideal candidate:
Strong, steady and confident with teenagers

Able to motivate, relate and keep pupils on track

Resilient and calm in challenging situations

Reliable, consistent and committed to long-term progress
