Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established and highly respected construction and fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The business delivers high-quality, design-led projects across luxury residential, retail, commercial and hospitality sectors, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, detail and end-to-end project delivery. Operating as part of a larger group, the company provides fully integrated services including design development, bespoke joinery, manufacture, project management and installation, allowing for a truly turnkey approach on complex, fast-paced schemes. This is a key commercial role where you will take full responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with project teams to ensure strong financial control and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities * Full commercial management of fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-contract through to final account * Preparation and negotiation of valuations, variations and final accounts * Subcontract procurement, negotiation and account management * Monthly CVRs, forecasting and cost reporting * Contract administration (primarily JCT) * Management of commercial risk and change control * Close collaboration with site and project management teams * Supporting junior members of the commercial team where required About You * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within main contracting (fit-out or refurbishment experience preferred) * Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts * Confident managing multiple projects and taking commercial ownership * Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills * Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred) What’s on Offer * Competitive salary (dependent on experience) * Opportunity to work on high-end, design-led projects across multiple sectors * Strong pipeline of secured work within a well-established group structure * Supportive, collaborative commercial and operational teams * Genuine long-term progression within a growing business
